First Sgt. Amanda Nevel

Conservation Police First Sgt Amanda Nevel has been working with the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources for 9 years. FSgt Nevel is the Basic Academy First Sgt in charge of training new Conservation Police Officers each year to conserve and protect the Commonwealth’s wildlife. FSgt Nevel has a Master’s Degree is Conservation Law Enforcement Leadership from Unity College. Nevel will be teaching with K9 Officer Braziel at this year’s Beyond the Cast Women’s Fly Fishing Symposium, discussing how to interact with Wildlife safely. Don’t miss this one of a kind class.
