Mike McFarland is an experienced fly fisherman and the owner of McFarland Rod Company in Bellwood, PA where he has been designing and building rods for over 30 years. In addition to producing his own line of rods he also designs and manufactures blanks for some of the most highly regarded rod companies in the industry. Mike is an experienced and versatile tournament caster and has competed with rods made of graphite, fiberglass and bamboo. He is a multiple time winner of the Hardy Cup casting competition. Mike’s rod designs are highly regarded around the world.
